A Note From Our Pastor

As a family of believers in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, it is my desire as pastor to make the goal of this church that which was the goal of the church in the book of Acts. They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread in prayer. Everyone was filled with awe, and many wonders and miraculous signs were done by the apostles. All that believed were together and had everything in common. Selling their possessions and goods, they gave to anyone as he had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. "...And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved." (Acts2:42-47) From this passage it is clear that the early church was dedicated to discipleship, fellowship, prayer, worship, ministry/missions, and evangelism. May this be so of the body of believers known as Gateway Baptist Church.

Yours in Christ,
